What to know
Freefalling is one of the most unique experience in your life. You’ll reach speeds of over 200 km/h as you freefall towards Earth! We’re completely addicted and we’re here to share our passion for skydiving with you. Our experienced instructors have done thousands of jumps and are ready to show you why they love what they do!
No matter if this is your first jump or your tenth, we want it to be special. Whether you’re nervous or you want to make it even more exciting by doing flips, let us know and we’ll make sure you have a great experience.

Whatβs included:
- Professional and experienced tandem instructor
- Training to get you ready to jump out of a plane
- Use of skydiving jumpsuit (optional), hat and goggles
- Restrooms, and free parking at our dropzone
- Viewing area for your spectators, we get in the plane and land in the same place.
What to bring:
- Comfortable and weather-appropriate clothing (gloves in winter)
- Closed shoes that cannot fall off during the freefall
- Earplugs. The plane can be loud, you might see our instructors wearing noise cancelling earphones.
- Money: cash or card, if you book through our website your jump will not be paid for, we just take the card to reserve your spot and make sure we don’t have time wasters or jokers.
Timings:
- Arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled take off so you can get signed in, geared up and given training.
- Allow around 1.5h for the whole experience, although on a quiet day it can be quicker.
- We try very hard to run on schedule and we don’t want you to miss your flight, so make sure you plan your travel time.
- The traffic in and around Mount Maunganui can get bad.

What to expect
Check in
Unless you’ve checked in online, we’ll make you fill in a waiver form and tell us some things about yourself.
Choose your video package
Our team will show you the different options to choose from.
Please note: if you’d like the Outside Camera package, it needs to be prebooked.
Pay for your jump
Unless you’ve paid through a third party, you pay on the day.
Get geared up and trained up
We will give you a jumpsuit (optional when it’s warm), a hat (NZ civil aviation regulations) and goggles.
Our staff will then show you how we jump out. It’s all pretty easy… Our instructor will push you out! Don’t worry, our instructors will repeat the briefing at the plane, and again just before you jump
Get in the plane and fly up
Enjoy your 15 to 20 minute scenic flight. Ask about the views, chat to your instructor or just be in your head, it’s your experience!
Time to jump
A couple minutes before the jump your instructor will get you ready and repeat the briefing.
Then it’s feet out the plane, hands on harness, ready, set, go!
Enjoy the freefall
40 seconds or 1 minute of one of the most memorable and unique experience in your life!
Parachute opens
Your instructor will open the parachute, and you will fly down gently back to Earth! Breathe and enjoy the views all around you for the next 4 to 5 minutes.
Landing
Your instructor will steer the canopy towards the landing area and let you know when itβs time to lift your legs up. This will help you land softly and safely.

Welcome back to Earth! High five your instructor and go back to the hangar with a smile on your face!
